The Finnish Finance Ministry is prepared to present a proposal allowing the creation of residential REITs.
In early April, a Finance Ministry official said the department had already written the proposal, although details of the plan are not final. The Finance Ministry plans to offer the proposal to the Finnish parliament later this year.
