W. Blake Baird resigned as president of AMB Property Corporation (NYSE: AMB) to pursue other interests. Chief Financial Officer Michael A. Coke announced his intention to retire by the end of 2007's second quarter.
Robert L. Levy has been appointed chief financial officer of American Mortgage Acceptance Company (NYSE: AMC), replacing Alan P. Hirmes, who will continue to serve on AMC's board of trustees. Previously, Levy served as CharterMac's (NYSE: CHC) director of capital markets.
Steven R. Demeritt, the former vice chairman of General Mills, joined Archstone-Smith's (NYSE: ASN) board of trustees.
Mario DeLuca, a 16-year veteran in tax consulting and compliance issues, has joined Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. Previously, DeLuca provided guidance on REIT tax advisory and compliance services at Big Four accounting firms.
Tom G. Charlesworth, the executive vice president and chief investment officer of Cousins Properties Inc. (NYSE: CUZ), retired at the end of 2006. He will be replaced by Craig B. Jones. Previously, Jones served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
Dividend Capital Realty Trust, Inc. appointed Mike Kelly as its new chief acquisitions officer. Previously, Kelly was the senior vice president and director of acquisitions and dispositions for United Dominion Realty Trust (NYSE: UDR).
Howard M. Sipzner has joined Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE: BDN) as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Sipzner previously held the same title with Equity One, Inc. (NYSE: EQY).
Jeffrey Olson began his tenure as CEO of Equity One, Inc. (NYSE: EQY) on Dec. 1, replacing Chaim Katzman, who remains chairman. Gregory Andrews joined the company as its new chief financial officer. Andrews previously worked as a principal with Green Street Advisors, and is replacing Howard M. Sipzner. Deborah Cheek, former chief financial officer with Landex Corp., has joined the company as vice president and director of finance.
L. Pendleton Siegel retired as chairman of the board with Potlatch Corp. Potlatch president and CEO, Michael Covey, will succeed Siegel.
Timothy M. Martin has joined U-Store-It Trust (NYSE: YSI) as senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Martin previously served as vice president finance and treasurer with Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE: BDN).
The former Executive Vice President of Operations with Cadillac Fairview, Tony Grossi, joined The Macerich Company (NYSE: MAC) as executive vice president, chief operating officer. Grossi replaces David Contis, who left Macerich.
Taj S. Bindra, former president of mortgage banking, capital markets and servicing operations at Washington Mutual, Inc., was appointed the new executive vice president and chief financial officer for New Century Financial Corporation (NYSE: NEW). Bindra replaces Patti M. Dodge, who is now executive vice president of investor relations.
Christopher Genry, executive vice president of strategy at United Dominion Realty Trust (NYSE: UDR), retired at the end of 2006. He had been with the company for five years.
