Jack Callison, Jr., Rick D. Jacobsen and Henry Bunis of Archstone-Smith (NYSE: ASN) have been promoted to the positions of executive vice president, senior vice president and treasurer, and senior vice president, respectively.

Kara Florack has been promoted to director of human resources with Associated Estates Realty Corp. (NYSE: AEC).

Glenn Mueller has joined Dividend Capital Trust as the company’s real estate investment strategist and director of research. Phillip Altinger has joined Dividend Capital Trust’s board of directors.

CarrAmerica Realty Corp. (NYSE: CRE) named K. Dane Brooksher, former chairman and chief executive at ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), to its board of directors.

David J. Neithercut, president of Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), was named CEO and trustee of the company effective Jan. 1. As previously announced, Neithercut was named the successor to Bruce W. Duncan, the company’s previous CEO, upon his retirement on Dec. 31, 2005.

First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE: FR) announced James F. Millar had joined its board of directors.

Brian S. Peay has been appointed Glenborough Realty Trust’s (NYSE: GLB) executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Stephen Saul. Saul left Glenborough on Dec. 31, 2005 to pursue private interests. Glenborough has also named Alvin Fong as vice president and chief accounting officer.

President David Grain has resigned from Global Signal to pursue other business interests. Wesley Edens, the company’s chairman and CEO, has added the title of president.

Angela Hoke has joined Healthcare Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: HR) as its principal accounting officer.

Hersha Hospitality Trust’s (NYSE: HT) CEO Hasu Shah has retired from his position, still remaining as chairman of the company’s board. Jay Shah was named Hersha’s CEO, as well as a member of the board. Neil Shah was named president and COO.

Home Properties, Inc. (NYSE: HME) promoted John E. Smith to the role of senior vice president and chief investment officer.

Rick Gilchrist resigned as co-CEO and president of Maguire Properties, Inc. (NYSE: MPG). The resignation became effective Jan. 1, 2006.

Michael J. Covey has joined Potlatch Corporation (NYSE: PCH) as president and CEO, replacing L. Pendleton Siegel in February. Covey previously served as executive vice president at Plum Creek Timber Company.

William Croteau, a 20-year veteran at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, has been appointed to the dual role of U.S. real estate sector leader and global real estate assurance leader for the firm’s Financial Services Industry Group. Croteau replaces Nicholas Cammarano, Jr., who has taken a broader position with the Financial Services Industry Group.

Anne Brettingen, a 15-year veteran in the retail real estate sector, has been named vice president of investment services for Regency Centers Corporation’s (NYSE: REG) Mid-Atlantic region.

Ronald J. Kramer, president and director of Wynn Resorts, Ltd., was appointed to Republic Property Trust’s (NYSE: RPB) board of directors.

Trey Kinder, managing director of Wachovia SecuritiesReal Estate Corporate Finance Group, died on Dec. 31. He was 41. Previously, Kinder worked as a real estate M&A lawyer with Hunton & Williams and as a banker with Legg Mason before joining Wachovia in 1997.
